Christian Sailer"School is the most important thing, just so can the cycle of poverty and misery break through." (E. Forster, Chairman Ghandicare Fund)
The NGO program in Gondar of Link Ethiopia provides the ability to work with others for a primary school in Gondar. We were participants of TdA 1012 and had the opportunity to get involved on a voluntary basis for children, their parents are not able to pay the required school fees for uniforms and equipment. With U.S. $ 25 purchase a school uniform, school supplies and school backpack per child for one year is possible. No question to support education on that way.

The donation spot - my goal on TdAChristian Sailer
The primary school for students places in a secluded valley who usually come fromlarge families and thus poorest. A donation ceremony, which was organized by the local teachers in collaboration with Link Ethiopia, found on the spot of Gondar during our rest days. The event showed and proved that the donatedmoney was given to about 130 needy children in physical form 1:1. The lights of the child's eyes, which expressed their joy and gratitude that they can now visit the school with their own equipment, touched me exceedingly.

These young people were given the opportunity for betteraccess to education and thus a future with more opportunities and perspectives.
The cycle of poverty could be broken for these 130 young people. Thanks to this event, I decided to stand up for this primary school in Gondar in cooperation with the Organization Link Ethiopia and now to collect donations as part of my lectures in the home. I will pass the collected contributions in another ceremony with the local partners and to inform the public. My activities will be documented on my Ethiopia 2016.
